Huoshan Huangya tea, or Huoshan Yellow Bud Tea

Grades are divided according to tea leaves quality. The size and count of fresh tea buds and leaves, and period (related to climate) of fresh tea leaves decide. Tea processed with smart & few fresh tea buds and leaves of early spring tastes sappily delicate, with enjoyable aroma. The Grade 1 is produced around the Tomb-sweeping Day.

The upper grade, the fresher, softer and sweeter taste in mouth, gently balanced among the various notes, and the color of the liquor is clearer and lighter. The taste of lower grades is bolder, and the infusion is greener.

1 of the Top 10 China Teas. Both refreshing and mellow. Liu An Gua Pian is unique because it is processed using only the leaf part (discard the leaf tip, stalk and bud).

It is also tribute and has long history.

 Our Liu An Gua Pian base is located in Xian Hua Ling / Fresh Flower Hummock of Jin Zhai County, neighbour of our Huoshan County. We Huoshan County and Jin Zhai County both belong to Liu An City.

Fresh Flower Hummock is 1 of the best production areas of Liu An Gua Pian, surrounded by the grand Xiang Hong Dian Reservoir, great entironment!

We also produce the charcoal used to bake teas by ourselves!

Processed by machine with 4 procedures: heating→twisting→drying→picking (by 2 kinds of machines).

The 2 different drying methods produce 2 different kinds of Green Teas: Roasted Green Tea/Chao Qing, and Baked Green Tea/Hong Qing.
